I'm So Proud of Chelsea

So many fantastic games happened this week and the results were brilliant. I've said it before, we were Chelsea and we would bounce back. All the Blues players proved me so right.

Firstly, let's talk about games around Chelsea. I expected Chelsea to crash over Southampton, but 6-0 was absolutely cheering. This fantastic result brought a huge smile to me the whole day, however, I was a bit worried about the second leg due to the spectacular performance. They are all young players, and we've seen how badly Werner could play, especially after winning something big. Oh boy, oh boy. The Real Madrid match was positively surreal. Although we lost on aggregate anyway, there are just some excellent matches that you don't feel like being defeated even if you lose.

We lost to Real Madrid, narrowly. Credit needs to be given when it's due, hail to all Chelsea players, hail to Thomas Tuchel, hail to Real Madrid as well because this was just an incredible game. I said we weren't going to make it after the first leg, but I've given hope after the Southampton match. Obviously, I was quite sad because we had such a big advantage and something to improve. However, I was never disappointed by any players in Chelsea really. Werner wasn't buoyed by the victory at any point, Mount still kept that energy until the match ended. Pulisic was the only problem on the pitch that night, he was looking the most tired out of everyone. Honestly, I think Kante wasn't pulling his weight as usual. Compared to last year, he didn't have the complete dominance of midfield, when he played against Modric. Keep in mind, that I'm not blaming any one of them, but we probably need a midfielder ASAP. Kante is the only world-class player we have, and he is getting older.

Anyway, we were out of the Champions League by millimeters, but we bounced back. Proud of this Chelsea club, and I'm faithful that whoever takes over the club, we'll still be world-class.

Champions League

The quarter-finals were done, Real Madrid vs Man City, Villarreal vs Liverpool will take place by the end of the month. Top of the Premier League vs top of the La Liga and second of the Premier League vs seventh of La Liga. The prediction I made last time was horrible, but I'm doing it again.

Villarreal made it this far was kind of unexpected, Juventus and Bayern Munich were both tough components. Of course, Nagelsmann was an idiot making these dumb and stupid decisions that nobody understood. However, Villarreal was playing the game properly and reentered the top four after 16 years. Villarreal is the ultimate dark horse of the season. With that being said, when they face one of the best clubs in the current football world, I don't think they'll win.

The other side of the semi-final is slightly more interesting. Both Real Madrid Chelsea Matches were interesting, which I've talked about before. The Man City Atletico match was, however, quite boring. Simeone really made one of the most impressive tactics ever, starting with a 5-5-0. Literally no shots and corners from Atletico Madrid, a bit shameful, to be honest. Real Madrid was making impressively this far, beating PSG and Chelsea, and I would be glad to see if they won the league. But Man City is on a different level. There won't be dark horses this time, we'll have an ultimate England Derby, Man City vs Liverpool final. Weirdly enough, they face each other four times this season.

First Leg(Etihad) Man City 1:1 Real Madrid

Second Leg(Bernabeu) Man City 3:1 Real Madrid

    First Leg(Anfield) Liverpool 1:1 Villarreal

Second Leg(El Madrigal) Liverpool 3:0 Villarreal

Europa League

The laughing stock itself Barcelona has bottled it, again! The no-brainer champion for this league was knocked out by Frankfurt, how incredible! Not pissing any Barcelona fans, but this was ridiculous. Literally one of the biggest names in football history, ever. Weirdly enough, those big clubs were all out of this league, Barcelona, Dortmund, Porto, Sevilla, Napoli, etc. West Ham United vs Frankfurt and Glasgow Rangers vs RB Leipzig, the sixth of Premier League vs the ninth of Bundesliga and the second of Scottish Premier League vs the fourth of Bundesliga.

West Ham United in Europe was a thing that seldom happened in their history. Compared to the other three, West Ham United was a rising star. When Barcelona got knocked out by Frankfurt, it's actually possible for West Ham to win the Europa League. Frankfurt is definitely a tough component, but West Ham, in my opinion, is in a better shape. It's a weird feeling thinking about West Ham lifting a European trophy one day.

On the other side is where Rangers facing Leipzig. Rangers is the underdog of Europa League, they beat Dortmund by 4-2 and came this far. Leipzig on the other hand is even stronger than the Rangers. Arguably the strongest team in Europa League, beating Dortmund by 4-1 in Bundesliga and seating in fourth place. Yeah, it's kind of over for Rangers.

   There's no score prediction.

We'll have a West Ham United vs RB Leipzig final.
