London Derbies Made Premier League So Interesting

Another interesting Premier League match has taken place. Another London Derby, Crystal Palace vs Arsenal, the ninth place in Premier League against the fifth place in Premier League. Clearly, Arsenal is the bigger club, but Crystal Palace was on smoke. They won the match against Wolves and had a draw against Man City, the first in the Premier League. The result was quite astonishing I might say, Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal.

Keep in mind, that Arsenal didn't stink recently. They won four out of five matches and only lost to Liverpool. Arteta was slowly and steadily building this team, which made them a contender for the Premier League top four. I watched the match, and Crystal Palace didn't dominate the whole game. In fact, Arsenal might get a bit unlucky. Some great chances, but they didn't turn those into scores, and that's the magic of football.

Due to Arsenal's loss, the Premier League table will be having some real heat. Man United drew with Leicester, which basically means that Man United won't be playing in the European Champions League. What's worse, if they finish in seventh, they won't be playing in the Europa League either. Finger-crossed, Cristiano Ronaldo. He has to play in European Competition. West Ham and Man United will be competing for the Europa League qualification. Arsenal is still Tottenham's big threat. Arsenal has one more game to play, and they will be facing Spurs in the future, just like Man City and Liverpool.

Honestly, I'm predicting Spurs to finish in the top 4. However, the real London Derby will take place a month later, so who knows. Spurs were notoriously inconsistent, they won against Man City, which made the Premier League table so spicy, and lost to Burnley exactly the next match. But the table has turned, Spurs won three games in a row. Maybe Antonio Conte will astonish me another time, just like they used to do.

Most importantly, who will win the Premier League? I used to believe that Liverpool will come first, but it's looking hard for them frankly. In comparison, Man City will go clear after the game against Liverpool. I don't see real threatening opponents for Man City. Liverpool however, will face Tottenham and Man United. Man United probably is weak right now, but never underestimate a big club and Ronaldo. Tottenham is always the surprise, and Conte makes this team strong. If Liverpool wins the league, it'll be one of the greatest comebacks in the Premier League of all time. Man City was literally so clear at the start of the season.
